As far as I know the Rev. never killed anybody and I do not think he deserves to go to hell.
He represented an extreme point of view that made people cringe but he was hard to take seriously. He was never a leader. Leaders lead from a positve point of view and encourage the people they lead to find the best in themselves. He was negative and divisive. I also believe he had a cult following which made him a favorite of the media for all the wrong reasons. He got coverage because he was outrageous not because he was admirable.

i'm not going to say where he went because he followed what HE believed was to be right. its not my place to judge that either. i wasn't really phased about it. i was out of the loop of who 'exactly' he was, but when i heard about all the things....i wasn't that sad. i wasn't a follower and i definatly didn't agree with what he said. i myself am a christian as well and i've always doubted some view of the church (not the religion) just the way 'men' view and understand the bible. i feel we've just got things all wrong and the outrageous more public christian like him do sometimes taint the public view on the christian faith

Personally I think the man was a hateful bigot nut. The sicko seen a children’s show as representations of homosexuals. Oh and don’t forget his claim God invented AIDS to wipe out the Homosexuals. I think the man was a closet case myself. He sure was obsessed with it enough. Where he went only God knows, but I can't say I will miss him or the world will be worse off without him.

only god can judge him. i think we should all pray for his soul.i think that he preached what he believed and never changed his positions on those moral issues.

I hope it isn't rude to point you to a discussion I started on the topic. I began it as soon as I heard the news. It's only cost me two points in my star rating, it was definitely worth it!
