lordy lordy, my weenie dog is fat, do you have a fat dog? all she wants

A fat dog will not live a full long life. It will have heart and other kinds of problems associated with obesity just as in humans. It is your dog you are responsible to see she does not eat too much and get fat. The nutritional value is important but overfeeding...you will kill your dog.

Nope, I don't have a fat dog but I have a fat cat. Indy (short for Independance - she was born on the 4th of July) isn't a year old yet and way overweight. I've actually put her on a diet, cutting back on how much food I give her.

My dog Buster is a chunky lil' devil. But he isn't lazy. My dad feeds him everything he eats and that's the reason for Busters large tummy. You can see the pudge in this photo. Hahaha. GRUMPY GRANDPA BOB!!~

You should include a photo of her. What breed is she? I lot of dogs eat too much & get fat. I guess it doesn't matter at her age, if the weight isn't oytting a strain on her heart. Perhaos you could get the vet to check out her heart. If she needs to diet, a good way without reducing portions, is to add cooked rice & grated carrot, & take ou some of the doggy fatty foods.
