For me, I will choose Australia... my mother is there and I think that Australia is a beautiful place to live in...But if I will be given the chance, I also like to live in London... How about you? Where do you like to be when given the chance to choose between the two and why?

Question is where in Australia? London is just part of England and you specified the city itself. Depends on where in Australia- Melbourne, Sydney? But if you say anywhere in Australia or anywhere in England- my choice would be Australia- if only for a visit. I have been to England but I have never been to Australia. My Dad wo passed away 3 years ago said to me, if I get the chance that I should visit Australia. He had been to Sydney and Melbourne and loved them both. So I think I would visit the places he had been to experience what he had. As far as London, England is concerned, there are quite a few similarities its weather has with my city- San Francisco, CA so it would not be a bad transition to move there someday.

Living in Australia myself I would have to say I would prefer to be here of course! lol But would love to visit London as there seems to be so much to see and the countryside it something not to miss. Our countryside is now picking up as we have finally had rain and it is lovely to drive around and see so much green!

Well, you aren't making a fair comparison... asking someone to choose between a CITY and an entire country. Make the comparison fair, and compare Australia to the UK, or London to Syndey, or Canberra or whatever. (BTW - I pick Australia)

I know that i prefer Australia, i was there once, and i even wanted to study at melbourne university, but did not because of a few financial problems. I liked the people there and the country, and felt there like it was a part of me, strange feeling that i can not really explain. About London, well i have a problem with the weather there, and i do not really connect to the mentality, even thaugh i enjoyed myself very much when i was there.

I never been to Australia or London, but I prefer to go to London. I read it's one of the beautiful cities in the world. My brother work there and he like the place. It's a bit expensive living there but Europe it's just around the border so there's lot of place to go and experience. Australia is a bit like the Philippines but a big country, actually a continent so there's a lot of place explore too.

Why is Canada not in your choice? :) hehe I am just kidding because I have just migrated to Canada with my family. But to choose between Australia and London, I would probably choose London because in my opinion, I would have more opportunities there since it is surrounded with other countries and I could just transfer when needed.

I like both places. However, I have never been to Australia and London but I've ever seen photos and stories about them. I would say that Australia is more interesting because of cangaroos there. LOL

Yes, kangaroos can only be found in Australia and that's what makes Australia more interesting.

I ahve never been to either of the two places. Though i have heard a lot about them. i would like to see the great coral reefs in australia and big ben and buckingham palace in london. So id say id like to visit both places in my lifetime. As far as living goes, id prefer the united states.

If the question rise where among this two i prefer for a visit, i like london at it is large and can easily travel around europe either by land or by plane. But if for staying long, i prefer Australia because my sister and her family had migrated there long time ago, and the filipino community in Australia is getting bigger, so my homesickness will be less.

I have never been outside the United States. I would like to visit both England and Australia. I don't think that I would like to live in either country. I would want to remain in the United States because my family is here and I would miss them if I moved so far away.
