Windows media player problems

Im having probs with my window media player. I have 1100s song on my player which i loaded onto in the past week (a new pc). the prob is that every single song i play breaks up during the last 15-20 seconds only. This only applies to the music on my hard driver. If i load a cd this doesnt happen, i downloaded i tunes and thats perfect. Would reinstalling the media player again solve my problem? thanks
