The Iphone that is. Appleinsider reports that the Iphone has received FCC approval. Now be ready to get swamped by the coolest gadget to come out from Apple since the iPod.

Since it has received FCC approval, it shoul be about a couple months from now. But for our region, I think it's either gonna be end of this year or mid next year.

Like I posted in another thread, I really do hope the touch screen is intuitive! So far, phones with similar touch screens has been a major let down. No point having a feature packed phone that is not responsive when trying to access the applications via the touch screen. But admittedly, the iPhone design is really catchy! Sleek black and smooth lines... apple really knows how to capture the heart of fans all over the world! I wonder if all the telcos are gonna be launching that handset too! Can't wait to get my hands on one! ;)

It's a very cool equipment, I saw it on cnet reviews, and they showd a video of it. When you are looking at a picture and you flip the iphone to the horizontal, the picture also flips to, it's so cool, I want one but I think it will cost more than USD800 here in brazil

USD800?? THat is a lot of money for just one phone, albeit an iPhone. Maybe you should wait a bit till the price drops?

that feature is already available in some of the dopods slide phones and the nokia communicator... so it not that big a deal. The big deal here is the way the handset is design, and the best part of it is, it is an apple product!
