...T.R.Knight came out of the closet? Don't know why that popped into my head, but I had to ask what everybody thinks!

Do you mean did they do the love scene because he admitted to being gay but he would seem straight on the show? Or do you mean as a way for him to leave the show?
If it's the first one, then no. Because he was in love with Meridith and slept with her way before Callie or Izzy came into the picture.
And if you mean the second, then still no. I think they used him failing his intern test as a way for him to leave.
Either way, I'll miss little Ol' Georgey.

I was thinking, as a way to distance the character from the actor's gayness. For the life of me, I can't figure out why they did the G-I storyline. They only needed to have George fail the test to leave the show. What was up with this?

I don't know why they threw that in there. Because it sure makes Izzy seem very desperate. It's not like her. After she was so strong and in love with Denny to turn around and be a puppy after George. Amazing how quickly we can change our feelings.

LOL I think you have a good point, but I thought you were gonna say, McDreamy and McSteamy next!

Right on, KaraLee! married men should be off limits, if you fall for one, that's your problem!
Pretty sure T.R.Knight is gone. There's an interview in next month's Advocate magazine where his Grey's gig is referred to in the past tense. I used to like George so much, too, back when he was a gentle geek who appreciated having one hot dr in his bed!
