Coach to INDIAN CRICKET TEAM

Big wigs are looking for a foreign coach.India has already utilised 2 foreign coaches and they did their best to make the team perform well.Iam not findig fault with foreign coaches but Indian players are sometimes stubborn. As a result we could not lifet cups.
My view is that India have lot of experianced & talented retired players who can do the best.not only this, but also record holders.why not pick one of them to the post of coach?Mohinder Amarnath is one of my choice.i have seen him in Tv talking politely with full of advices to players.Offcourse, there is Kapil Dev for bowling who is an experianced bowler ever India produced.
There is the great Sunil Gavaskar who has great batting talent.I wonder why BCCI doesnot consider all the above people ans seeking for a coach from other country?Whats your views with relevant to this?

I think it's not the coach only that can contribute to uplift Indian Cricket. The problem is not with the coaches. Just see every time we are appointing one of the best coach available the field. But there is not much difference in the performance. I think the problem is with the amount of cricket we are playing. It's not possible for any player to keep on giving good results throughout the year. The amount of cricket that we are playing is too much. Either we need to bring this number down or we need to adopt rotation policy for the players. I think the second option is the best option. It not only gives the chance to new players but also give the time to the players to recharge.

well i think with robin singh, vankatesh prasad as fielding n bowling coach i think i foreign coach shud be taken...............

I think mohinder amarnath would have been the best.But then our board is very much attached to foreign coaches.It has lots of money to pay them & hire them.They are also willing to take the job as it is very lucrative to be an indian cricket coach.

As my opinoin there is nothing fault in the coaching any coach will give little bit advice. Indian players are presently mentally weak, so they need a mental strength to go an play good game. I think ravi shastri is very good coach, because he not only guide the players and encourages the people and captain is the main for every country if captain leads from the front, so coach play very less % in the team. Captain should take care of the team

i think an indian coach is a batter option as a coach because i think that an indian coach can understand the mind set of indian players well then a foreign coach.i also think thant there are enough experienced players in india who can coach the players.

India has an option of going for an foreign Coach like Whatmore who has done good in the past for Srilankan by making them win the 1996 World Cup. And now for Bangladesh by helping them to get into super 8. We also have the option of John Wright who has done good job for India as under his coaching we had reached fianl last world cup. But if the listen to most of our senior cricketer there opinion is that we should go for some Indian Coach.

In my view a foreign coach such as J. Wright will be better than an Indian coach.

do u realy believe that now days cricketers really need coaches. now they are so much profesionals. i do not think by this stage of their carier a coach can enhance there porformence. it is up to the playes to perfor. i dont thing they need to be told about that. do not forget we did not have a coach when we did bring the cup to India. as far as assining coach u need to have the right man.
i thing Indian coach would be better as they can understand them well. you tell it ur self will some one in ur colony will know u better or a person from out side.
same thing with team India. i dont think former indian player cant do the job.
