Naturally shadow is expressed as a mare duplicate of your own self. But spiritually, it is your rely your past did that is huntig for you. it comes with a scary Nigtmares which makes you think someone is after your life.

Shadows are just an outline of you thrown by light shining past you and onto the ground, projecting a shaded area from the light where you're standing. If the light was turned off, there would be no shadow, so I think the past haunting you is just a myth, or old wives' tale. Brightest Blessings.
