There is a system which always freez in the place where Work as a cafe attendant. I want to repair it (though I don't have much experience on it), but I don't just know where to start. I mean I don't know if it's the hard disk that is afected or not. Is there anyone there to help? Thanks for your response in advance

Expand on what you mean by freezing... does the system hang and ends up needing restarting? Is the UI slow to repond? Is there harddisk activity when the system freezes? Have you ensured that the system is clean of malware? More info and specs on the system would help...

To rule out overheating, remove side panel and apply cool air from a desk-fan. If the system does not hang after the expected hang time, you'll know it's a ventillation issue - CPU fan, motherboard chipset etc.
Ensure that motherboard chipset drivers and graphics card drivers are installed and be sure to rid the system of any malware - www.safer-networking.org for Spybot S&D for removing spyware and trojans... www.free-av.com for free Anti-Virus. Both are free for personal use however, since the system is in a commercial environment, you may be required to pay - you will need to evaluate and decide.
Ensure that the harddisk is free from bad sectors. If you find bad sectors, it's time for a new harddisk.

There is a virus in your system that makes your computer to freeze. The virus sends back information to the one who send the virus to you. Try installing the Windows (Operating system) again by formatting your hard disk. There is no problem with the hard disk because where you live there in no such thing called electricity fluctuation.

please make it more clear.. i think you want to tell that whenever you want to run 2/3 or more programs simultaneously the system stops responding... if it is like so then its probably a problem of ram , not with your harddisk.then try to upgrade your ram.

Yea you understand me a bit. Whenever am instructing students on the system, it hangs and one has to restart it before it will now start working. The worse thing is, it hangs every 20 minutes. Thanks
