Have you ever rated someone Negative or Abusive?

I recently posted a new discussion about favorite smell and perfume. And I rated the first person who responded to my discussion Abusive. Because of his/ her offensive comment or response. I thought it was very out of subject and abusive in a way. I wonder how the ratings would reflect his/her earning or credibility here in mylot. How about you, have you ever rated someone in your discussions Negative or Abusive?

I've never had to rate someone that way, thank goodness. And honestly, I don't think I ever will. That kinda stuff just doesn't get to me, and I just kinda brush it off. Sorry you were offended with the comment! Hopefully it won't happen again!

Thanks for responding. It's my first time to rate and report someone abusive. I also hope that I don't get anymore offensive responses in my discussions.

I have rated several users of myLot negative but I haven't rated abusive to anyone. I think the ratings has something to do with the earnings or maybe it has something to do with the star rating. It has to be. I mean the myLot administrator wouldn't place the ratings for no reason.

I checked your discussion and that person is obviously just downright nasty. Look at his number in his score! He/she won't be here long. I have reported offensive material before. We don't need people here that just take up space and are who don't contribute anything positive to this community. I also give minus to where it is due.

I have never felt the need to rate anyone abusive. I did once rate someone - thinking it was a neutral rating, then I realized it meant negative and felt really bad about it.

No,I never did even if I do not like anyone's response to my discussion still I never rate them negative.I think it is not anything personal we all are here to share our thoughts and everyone has different thoughts on every topic it doesn't mean that if it is not up to our level me rate it negative.I usually rate those responses which I feel that It is real fact then otherwise I leave that topic as it was.I never rate it negative.Of course rating some one negative would effect its earning and her/his popularity on My lot.But if some one is abusive or using bad language I would not mind rating them negative because there are some limits which every user should understand here on My lot.

whenever i read a discussion/response on mylot i make it a point to give a +ve rating to the user. i have rated -ve only once when i found that the response was absolutely abusive. though i have never rated ! to anyone.

I usually don't even if it is a ludicrous statement, but I have broken my normal practice lately. There is someone around here at Mylott that I am sincerely hoping will get banned, or at least quit making so many discussions about more or less the same three subjects. They delete them and she puts up another. I have reported her, because she is consistently abusive to anyone who disagrees with hr, and has apparently made a habit of this for years on various different websites around the interntet. Sad. Wish the situation would go away.
