Salad leaves and metal

Salad leaves like lettuce and rocket , as well as fresh herbs like basil and cilantro(coriander) should never ever be cut with a knife , they should be torn by hand ,as the metal gives off a bad taste to the fresh leaves. don't you agree with Peter???????????

Its news to me Peter. I will follow the chef advice. All this while I have been using knife to cut fresh vegetables. Nowonder I don't like vegetables, there is no taste.
