Rigid Toenails - see a chiropodist

Sorry to put a yukky post but I have just had a fall and torn the toenail of my little toe so that it is literally hanging by about a quarter of a centimeter right at the bed of the nail. This is because the medication I take has made my nails rigid.
I have just done what I should have done ages ago. Booked an appointment with a chiropodist because thick and rigid nails can not be cut by myself.
So please learn from my pain and if your toenails are difficult to reach, difficult to cut and especially if they are rigid, make arrangements for them to be seen to before you rip your nail off.

Well, as all my fans know, I fall over so many times I am always doing something. It is a while since the injury now and the wretched nail has grown back with a spike which is extremely hypersensitive and painful.
i am still seeing a chiropodist though and my feet do look a lot prettier and even though they still hurt I feel a lot more feminine.

I'm so glad you're getting them looked after, I really have to start looking after mine better, at the moment I have a deep plit in my heel from wearing sandals or no shoes too much, I'm moisturing but really need to get my bad of trick out and look after them properly. It's just time and lazyness with my feet really,but if I don't start making more effort Angie the chiropodist is going to go spare as she knows I'mm beauty trained and should do more for myself, oops.
