Are the Filters set too high?

So just a few minutes ago I was trying to post a picture of a MaineCoon cat in the cats section, and it told me that the word 'Co*on' (without the asterisk) is considered offensive. I know in some parts of the world this word is considered a racial slur, but couldn't we just report them for abuse if they were using the word in a derogatory fashion? My roommate also mentioned that when she posted about working in a 'liqu*or' store (again without the asterisk) it wouldn't allow her to use that word. I know MyLot has a lot of users of different ages, backgrounds and religions, but really -- That's a little touchy.

Maybe they need a more intelligent filter that looks at pairs of words rather than single predefined bad words from a list...

You are right its working on its own, i dont think there is some set criteria as once it stopped my response in the general section with general view without getting abusive perhaps it got overloaded sometimes and produce errors or i might be wrong about this and the guidelines are really strict about few words we think ok.
