Should a Woman Put on Trousers as a Christian?

THat's something I've never heard before in my life. Here in Denmark I don't think the priest care what people wear to service... But what do I know, I never really go...

phlamingho, thanks for your response. a god sent priest should care about what people wear to service most especially women. some women dress to kill even to kill the priest. i believe there is need for a woman to choose a good dress she should wear to church. she must dress moderately, responsibly and decently as a child of God.

What difference does it make whether a woman wears pants or dress to church as long as she is at church worshiping GOD. The way women dress is no big deal as long as it is not too trashy and revealing. The main thing is her morals, the way she behaves and the fact that she goes to church. She will not be judged by GOD by her dress but by her actions, thoughts and feelings and what is in her heart.

I agree with jbb316. I think when the Bible tells man not to wear woman's dress or vice versa it was meant to be understood contextually. And by the way, it is very difficult to figure out what is man's dress or woman's dress in certain context. Women wear woman's trousers and men wear man's trousers.
But once the decency and modesty are kept at the right limit I think it is ok to wear different attires.

You know what you put on your body has very little to do with what is on the inside. THat is what really matters to the lord! What's in your heart, and how you honor him in your life. Back in the days of Jesus they all wore dress type things anyway. Seems like a very outward type of thing, and like I said the inside is what matters!

Correct me if im wrong here but as far as I recall NO WHERE in the bible or in the words of jesus, does he discuss pants as abominations. I'm pretty sure god would be more concerned weather or not you believe in him and put your faith in him than in what you wore. After all didn't he originaly create adam and eve naked. Didnt he also preach to the sick and poor who likely laked the money for "proper church clothes"

Pants are for men and dresses and skirts are for women, I have seen women in pants before of course these are not tradional christian women and we all know where they will end up when the time has come for them to walk the lonley walk of shame.

bowtieguy, thanks for your response. actually dresses and skirts are are for women but some of these women put on trousers that are not decent. as a christian women, they ought to dress moderately, decently and responsibly.
