Peace makers not wanted / myLot

Have you ever gotten in a heated cyber “debate” that you were really enjoying and someone steps in and tries to break it up? Man that really gets me. I know they are doing something they think is right, but what the heck does it matter? It’s a message board for crying out loud, if one is bothered by reading the argument, can’t they just stop reading? Move on to another post? At least that is how I feel anyway. Then if it’s a friend, you are put in a strange position, do you ignore their peace pleads or do you try to let the battle go for them? Me, I enjoy a great debate sometimes a really senseless one at that, I hate someone trying to break it up. Am I nuts or are there others out there that feel this way? AND …how do you deal with the cyber refs, do you ignore them or try to appease them?

I'm with you I enjoy them and I just ignore peacemakers. If it gets nasty or insulting then I'll give a parting shot and them I'm gone. I don't wait to see if there is a nasty response to my parting shot because then I may get teed off.

That's me I just ignore them, I can't be mad at them, they are just trying to do what they think is right.

I love a good debate as well. I think the cyber peace keepers are funny- I usually ignore them and keep the debate going- Mylot is more fun when someone actually responds to your response- otherwise how do we know that people actually read what we post. I haven't had too many cyber peace keepers trying to break it up yet- I hope to get into some great debates and see if they come out- So I say just ignore them for now-
