do you ask for notify or not ?

the best thing i found here is friend , when i join i was in mess and didn't understand anything , but step by step i start to feel mylot , and i found this great friend who ask to be your friend , so i take my tour in mylot and i found this notify button if my friend start a discussion so i said why not trying this and beside what are friends for and also i need to know them more and how they think , but i felt something here ,
beside that some friends here forget to rate , and also some other forget to choose the best respond , i think that there is a a lot here in mylot forget the notify option , do you bush this button or not , and if not , can you tell me what are friends for ?!!

If I add a friend i try remember to push the notify button on.I did before but just today I see that I didn't at my last friends.Anyway now all are on...
The problem with the friends here is that many of them after they add you at them friend list they don't come to response any of your discussion,even if you go to them.I as here like you *what are friends for?*

yes i do that too , the only think when i turn it off is when i discover that friend doesn't follow the rules , or the thread is only the title , i know there is some time there is no respond to say but i think there is other you can , at least i look 2 my emails and read it , but i discover that one my friend is respond to me now aidonia !!

I'm some what guilty mainly because I forgot that feature. I 'm also new to Mylot and still find it kind of overwhelming. My next question will be why not have it that your notifier is activated automatically to notify. Like you said they have become your friends so give them that freedom.

never mind , i am new too , and maybe they forget about it but i only send a reminder , by the way u will like here so much , and you will know what you want with the time , but about automatic , i think it can't be like that , because if you find a friend from your list doesn't write any thing or only post jokes that can make his post and your respond delete it ? so it have to be on & off , and what if you have some day 3000 Friend what will happen with your emails inbox , so we have to choose , but for me if i ask some one to add me on his friends list i will sure notify . thank u .
