I need help in finding the 'perfect' gift!

I received a letter in the mail today inviting my husband, kids, and I to my cousin's daughter's high school graduation. Her graduation is in 8 days...yikes! And even though my family won't be able to make it I still feel we should give her a gift. My husband and I met my cousin's daughter 2 times before when she was about 8 years old so it's not like we are complete strangers. :P LOL Please help me find something nice for her special day. Thanks in advance!

Money is always a good thing to get But if you don't want to send money Get her a photo album or scrapbook where she can put all her graduation pictures in. Someone got me a scrapbook with some pages that had to do with a graduate and I loved it! I am 26 now and I still look back at it time and time again.

If you are not really sure what to get her for graduation why not try getting say a photo album for her to keep all her memories in? Or a gift certificate to a salon for a haircut or styling, something that might appeal to her new found sense of freedom. lol I know I would have loved to get either one of those. Sometimes cash is just so impersonal. Nice, but doesn't take a lot of effort or say much to that person. JMO

Yes, cash does seem very impersonal, especially for such an occasion as a graduation. Even though I haven't seen this family member in years, I feel the need to give her something a little more personal. Thank you for your ideas. I'll consider these.
