If we faithless, He remains faithful; He can't deny Himself. 2 Timothy 2:13 NKJV
If you fail God, do you fear that He will give up on you? It's not a worry you need to spend any time on. According to this verse, not even our worst failures of faith can make God that unfaithful to us.
It is a matter of what we've done that keeps God faithful. Clearly, it's God's nature that makes Him faithful even when we seem to forget the meaning of the word. It just isn't like God to become unfaithful and give up on us. To do so would be to deny all that He is and everything He stands for.
God's faithfulness doesn't give us an excuse to stop being constant in our belief. God calls us to become more and more like Him. As we do, we remain faithful to our spouses when they fail us, stick by our children even when they make mistakes, and stand by our friends and help them right wrongs.
Lord, Thank you for your fiathfulness, Make me more and more like you.

This is a great discussion. It is so good to know that God doesn't give up on us that are His. I am so thankful that God didn't give up on me like people give up on their children or friends. Praise the Lord! He does not forsake us. He is there with us always.

Yes, I always have to remember this. I always being a single parent thinking I did it alone. But he is truly the one that carried me through during the toughest times. And I am truly thankful for his faithfulness in standing by me during these times when I thought I was all alone.
