The 70's is my favorite era. My favorite music is the old "Motown".

My favorite era is the Romantic era. I don't know the numbers but my favorite Romantic Composer was Chopin.

That is tough because I love all music, and when it comes to singing, I try to sing as much variety as I can. I guess if I had to choose a favorite era though I guess I would have to narrow it down to the 70s and 80s. There were so many great songs written then. That does not mean that there are not a lot of good ones from other eras either though, I just love so many from those years.

i agree with you, i do sing to a little from everything, but if you will look at the list of songs i can sing i would say that mostly of the songs i know are from the 70s and 80s. thanks for the response.

I would have to say most of the best music comes from the 80's in my opinion. Billy Joel, Michael Jackson, those guys are superstars! Plus there are tons of one hit wonders from the 80's that are classic.
Maybe I think this way because I was born in the 80's, though?

yeah... this era is a cool era too. madonna, tiffany, debbie gibson. and i also agree with you that there are a lot of one hit wonder in this era. who is your favorite? well i can say is VITAMIN Z, i like the song they had a hit then after that they are nowhere to be found. the song was BURNING FLAME.

I grew up listening to the music of the 70's and the 80's and what's coming up right now are revivals from the years I was starting to listen to music.
I love the times of music during the 70's and the 80's they were mostly original.
