Why has Gaara grown weak?

I been seeing this in the shows lately. He can't really do anything anymore. Gaara, my favorite character, seems to have grown weaker! When they were still little kids, Gaara use to be the strongest one out of all, but now, it seem everyone has surpassed him! Why has Gaara grown weaker now? I am kind of upset about this!

What do you mean by Gaara has grown weak? Gaara is the Kazekage! He is the best between all the rookies before, if you think about his Title. He got to where Naruto would like to be. Gaara certainly is stronger, and now he can use much more his brain than before.

I mean that now, using his brain, he can develop many more tactics in a quickly way. Like in Shippuden, when he's fighting against Deidara (I think it's Deidara, the "bomb-man"). Deidara launches a big bomb, that would vanish the city! But Gaara had already put in plan his strategy and protected the whole city. That's using brain: developing strategies to fight against the enemy.

Beacause they wouldnt have a story line if he didnt, lol, nah i think that Gaara has grown stronger but with everyone elses strengths being focused on but his, weve only seen him fight like he would and havent seen his other skills thats probably why we have only seen him as a weaker character

Garra is not weaker, but he was fighting against an Akatsuki member when he was defeated. The only difference is that he CARES for others now. He was beating because he used his most powerful sand to save his village which is a key trait in Kazakage. And so far, thats the only fighting we've seen. And will ever see right now. After the extraction of the Biju, no one really know how strong he still is, but even without using the powers of the one tail Garra is still one of the strongest Sand Shinobi.

hmmmm gaara is weak, the fact that he's the KAZEKAGE prove that he is strong among the batch of new generation or new breed of ninjas like naruto and others. He become KAZEKAGE first than naruto (aiming to be the HOKAGE). at youn age he is the best. everybody had gone into training while gaara is in his village protecting it. he lost to the akatsuki not beacause he is weak but he is more concern in what the village outcome if he'll go berserk and release his full speed. this only proves that you cant do two thing at the same time. you will loose one of them in order the one to succeed..
