Mylot Ratings: Do They Impact You In Any Way?

I've been blessed to have maintained a good rating since I joined here, but I'm not sure how this impacts me in any way. I do rate other posters and those who respond to my discussions when I can, but I wonder if my rating really has any impact on that other member. How do you feel about the ratings? Do you strive for perfection here to maintain a high rating or do you just post for yourself and don't care what others think?

Congratulations for having a 10 rating :) So far you reached the highest rating :)
Somehow RATINGS have impact on me but not that much. It feels happy once your rating is high right?
Let's make a habit ( like what i do ) to give a postive rate to those who responded your discussion and if ever you don't feel their opinions then don't rate it negative.
Anyway, goodluck to us and enjoy posting :)

Hello,wachit14,if i say i do not care about my rating ,i must be lying, but i understand it is something out of our control but by other members,what i can do is to try to post and reply with quality so that other members will not give me negative rating.
I will always give positive rating to those who reply to me,i will leave those one liner replies unrate,i will never give a negative rating to anyone as i do not want to affect the earnings of the other.
