I have wanted to make some extra money signing up for different things like stamps.com. I have a credit card but am very leary of using it online. I asked yesterday on a discussion if anyone knew how to get a prepaid one. I went to my bank to see if they have them. I was told there that they could sell me a gift card but I couldn't add to it which meant that after the amount was gone I'd have to go buy another. One of the girls said she had seen an ad on TV saying that rite aid had them so I headed for rite aid. I found the cards easily. I bought a card that cost me 9.99 and I added 40 to it so for $50 I had $40 credit on it. I came home. Went to https://www.greendotonline.com and activated it which gave me the number,expiration date,the number on the back. I then used it and it worked fine. I can add more money to it at rite aid .I will have a 4.95 fee monthly but it's worth it for the peace of mind. So all you none credit card holders get out there and get yourself a creditcard.I think this is great for traveling also because you won't have to carry cash. Does anyone else use them? What kind of luck have you had with them?
