Hi, One of my friend and his religion believes that Group Prayers can do miracles. He said that he had witnesses cases , where many people got cured of their diseases miraculously because of their family conducted a group Prayer session.. I don't intend to blame anyone here , but just wanted to know whether anybody else had experienced the same . If yes, please let us know. If its true, they why don't we all follow the same...

A woman in my sister's church was sent home full of cancer to die. They told her she had 3 months to live. Their church sent out a prayer request. She went back to the doctor after about a month of prayer and they could find no evidence of any cancer. It's still a mystery but maybe Prayer and God works in mysterious ways.

I do believe it works and we sometimes pray in groups. My mom when she was pregnant of my youngest sister she heard that the baby was on the wrong side so she was turned with her head on the other side.Friend of my mother calls a prayer group o pray for her. After they prayed for her and she went back to the hospital it was a miracle my sister had turned in that night. And so she was born normally ^_^.But it was God's work and when my mom was pregnant of me she had extremely bleedings after hey had prayed for her the bleedings had stopped. So praying in groups does work.

Yes. Even I have heard of such miracles. One of my friends daughter fell really ill. You know what they did ? They didnt take her to Doctor. All they did was a Group Prayer that night. Thats all. She was cured on the morning. I really don't know how to explain that. May be there will be some scientific reasons behind that . But still......

And Uri Geller claims he can bend spoons with his mind. Faith healers have been claiming astonishing things for centuries. Every time they are studied, they turn out to be bogus (see Faith Healers-James Randi). There have been numerous investigations into Benny Hinn, Peter Popoff, Lourdes, etc, all fakes. It's just another way that organized religion can soak the true believer.

Every faith healer, homeopath, psychic surgeon, TT practioner, etc claims the same thing. Funny how it can never be proved when it comes down to it. Here's a suggestion. Before your next prayer healing, make sure proper doctor reports are filled out by independent physicians (for obvious reasons we cannot trust anyone involved in the prayer). Then after the people have been miraculously healed, get those doctors to verify it and apply for one of the many science prizes out there (as much as a million dollars) for proof of faith healing or other paranormal effects. Funny how no one has won any of them so far.
