So how is the election going on now in the Philippines? I went to one of the filipino restaurants here and saw in TV through TFC about the NAMFREL's counting and hmmm.. I just remembered two or three senators on the first 15 list, Pangilinan (I personally like him), Butch Pichay (our congressman back in surigao) and Honasan (no comment on this one). And I saw an erswhile sexy actress ( I forgot her name, she has a very white complexion and the one who sing "flawless") who cried for she thought she was cheated during the elections (hehe). How I miss Philippines. So far how is election now compared befor? What's your personal views about it?

the elction in the philippines, for me, is not going well. a lot of political killings have transpired and still is transpiring. i am really very sorry for this country because cheating, killing and other dirty deeds are done just so politicians can win the election. i hope that the reputation of the philippines having a very dirty politics can be changed by the government. :(

I think the people have already look for changes and it transpires in election. Even of fame and power the Arroyo government wasnt able to do something about it. I think the only problems in elections is political killings as well as those what happen in Maguindanao wherein the result of elections is of question.

With the election violence related incidences that happened from all over the country i would say that it is still not a very peaceful election despite the PNP says it has come down compared to previous elections. There are also places where the election failed to commence at all. I think this should be addressed further so it would not be repeated again in the future. with the results of the elections i think were moving forward already. Voters are getting smarter nowadays since I can see that the choice of the majority is being heard and reflected when you look at the results where opposition is really showing their dominance in the senate election. I think the only thing that has problems now is the local elections where the vote buying and other election related violence are present.
