some guidence please. look, I've been consuming enormous amounts of information about "indigos". I have found myself to be quite drawn to the possibility that I am one. however I have been brought up with no religion, my parents left me free to choose my own path in life. given this freedom I am now an athiest. basically what I find alluring is my constant struggles with life, I have rapid mood swings, I am quite sensitive to my surroundings, I have great judgment of character, I can always sense falseness and I despise it. I am very big on respect & honour, I can sometimes be very arrogant bcoz of this. my friends are limited to people who are very intelligent or just dumb (controllable). I regularly have vivid dreams relating to my life stresses. I regularly experience deja'vu. also I have an ability to connect with on a different level something I can't put into words, I understand the way they people feel, think, about to react. (alot more than the average person, its quite deep) ... there are more things I can't explain, I suck at translating my feelings in to words,I just know things I have no way of knowing. BACK TO MY POINT. to accept being an indigo adult, do I have to Embrace God? Believe in God? Believe in a higher power? Im finding it difficult to accept as a lot of the information I seek is related to god and religion. A very wise and Respectable person once told me this, "RELIGION IS FOR THE WEAK, & THOSE WHO CHOOSE it LACK TO ACHIEVE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL, And it is a form of unjust control". When reading this, I must inform I am going through depression, if this is my destined path, knowing I'm an indigo will bring me inner peace, that I have been longing for.

I believe in Indigos because I have met some of these kids before. They are restless but very sharp and intelligent at the same time. If you can identify with what you read about Indigos, then you are probably one (I could identify with traits like royalty and having a confidence that life would always turn out well for me). It does not matter whether the majority of the population believe you. Just know that there are people out there like you as well. Having said that, at the end of the day, one should not get too caught up in labels. Being Indigo does not mean you are superior to others. What matters is that you continue growing spiritually (in your own unique way and time). One can be spiritual (but not necessarily religious) in order to connect to the source. Religion is neither good or bad. What matters is that we explore different alternatives and then decide what appeals to us. I look at it as different strokes for different folks. The short response is: an indigo does not necessarily embrace god, nor any particular religion. To me, religion is generally linked to ritual-to be spiritual, however, requires no specific training, belief system or adherence to religious practices. One can, of course, develop or "fine tune" the abilities one possesses, through various means (which I won't bother going into right now). Be warned, however, that the traits of the indigo can often mimic the symptoms of various mental disorders (bi-polar for one) and vice-versa; but perhaps, they are not so far separated. Control of behaviours/thoughts seems to be the "defining" factor in such situations. For one, it is an illness, another, a gift.

religion is a system of beliefs. An Indigo or any person has their right to believe in whatever they want to and in your system if beliefs their is no god or high power, then that is fine. Indigos come from all kinds of beliefs and backrounds as everyone else does. Just like any other type of person... http://www.crystallinks.com http://www.indigochild.com If I remember the links right these should help you out a little. Take care! - DNatureofDTrain
