For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10
We were put on Eath to make a contribution
1. We were created to serve God.
2. We were saved to serve God.
3. We were called to serve God.
4. We are commanded to serve God.
Preparing for eternity
The truth is so important that is repeated five times in the gospels. If we are not serving we are just existing, because life is meant for the ministry. God wants us to learn to love and serve others unselfishly.
Service and Significance:
* Service is the pathway to real significance. It is through ministry that we discover the meaning of our lives.

Chapter: 29 Accepting Your Assignment
My Reflection:
It is a real awakening. really, todays lesson have been an eye opener to me. I think I was too selfish to notice that I have a ministry to serve. Maybe because I was too preoccupied with myself to serve.
That this life is not for me. Taht Iw as saved , called and I was commanded to serve the ministry.

I think what happens sometimes is we think we know better what we need in life. Sometimes it takes a wake up call to realize that what we need to do is follow God's plan for us. If we serve him than everything follows. We are a race that becomes selfish and forgets that Our Father in heaven looks out for us and all we have to do is accept and do what he asks of us. So sometimes it is hard to accept our assignment due to us thinking we are in control.

That will be nice to accept such an assignment but not everyone is up to the challenge at all. And sometimes it is really hard to do.
