Some of you might already know this but for everyone else...I have a BIG family. Six children of my own plus two step children. My s/o is 41 but I'm only 27 so plenty young enough that people still think/joke about us having more. As much as I love babies I think we have enough and don't intend to have any more. My s/o feels the same, especially since he's older and will already be almost 60 when our youngest graduates high school. But people like to talk and like I said joke about how we're "constantly" having a new baby. Now mind you we only have 3 together, a 6 month old, a 2 year old and a 4 year old.
Well, anyway, last night my s/o came home and said we needed to talk...he had stopped at the gas station on the way home and got congratulated about the new baby. At first he thought she meat our 6 month old but then she kept talking and it was clear this woman thought we were expecting another one again. Well needless to say this rumor has gone through several friends and faily members before reaching us and I'm so annoyed! Of course he set her straight and checked with me when he got home just to make sure he hadn't missed something but I'm still bothered that it was even said in the first place and that people can't just mind their own business anyway.
So how many of you have had to constantly deal with people discussion your personal business and spreading rumors about you? Anyone want to share how you dealt with it?

Sad to say it is going to keep happening, people just can't keep their mouths shut. and everyone who repeats a story just has to add a bit to it.
So some one's casual "I wonder if Foxey will have more kids", goes to " I hear Foxey may have more kids" "I hear Foxey is going to have more kids someday" "I hear Foxey is trying to get pregnant" "Hey, Foxey is pregnant"
If you waste you time and energy tracking down and stopping rumors it will wear you out, honest.
When people make too personal comment, or question my current answer is "the numbers on my blood test, my scale and my bank account are no body's business" Hint of humor and usually lets them know they have crossed a line.

"What goes the fastest " the teacher asked his pupils, one answered "Sir light it has a speed of 299 792 458 m/s", another condradicted , he said "Sir light isnt the fastest thing in this world rumor is"
It might be a joke but its true , so dont give any heed to this and have fun....

I have given birth seven times in reality, but rumor has it I have been pregnant about seventy more. If I had a baby every time I heard that I was pregnant I would have populated the earth myself. Rumors will spread and there really isn't anything you can do about it execpt to let your family and friends know that the rumors are just that, rumors. That is what I had to do too. My mom asked me more than once if I was pregnant because she had heard that I was. I had to reassure her that I would let her know if I found out that I was.
