Hello guys, I am having a major annoyance with microsoft word xp - i don't no if it is just this version that has a bug in it. When i write a document about a few pages long - i use 12 size font with 1.0 spacing. When i try to format this by changing all of the spacing to 1.5 or more - there is a problem. The whole document should span more pages but it doesn't. Instead, half of the words get cut off at the bottom of the page resulting in a skip in words from the bottom of a page to the top of the next page - this happens on every page. Can anybody who has experienced this problem and have figured out how to solve it please give me some advice? also, please only respond to this discussion if you have some useful suggestions - no silly responses.

I can't duplicate your problem with my word. The only way this could happen is when your text is placed within a text box (normally border lines is visible or you can see doted lines around your text). To be sure if this is your case then position your cursor any where in the first paragraph of the first page and press CTRL+A, if only the first page is selected and the other other pages are not then you are in a text box. Meaning each page has its own text box and you have to resize each one to accommodate the changes in spacing. Try moving your text out of each text box. I hope this helps. If not then i really don't know what's wrong with your document.

What I do is I cut some lines so that it would fit. It's an annoyance, especially for our research papers which require 2.0 spacing. It's really annoying, promise.
