Some people state that they paint the rooms in their home colors that are claming. What are the colors that you have painted rooms in your home and why did you pick that color?

I have yet to paint a room in any house...I rent and thats not allowed; however, I retire in a few years, and I made a promise, that NO room in the house will be of the same color, and NONE will be white. Before one thing gets put into the house, the walls will be painted...don't care what color, just not white. Sick of being forced in white walled houses....LOL, I'll probably buy a house just because it doesn't have white walls....

I cant blame you with that. If I seen white walls all the time it would drive me crazy.

White, off white, pale white...all the same. Even if there were colored trims, I'd paint over it! My feelings for white walls doesn't extent to other's houses, only my own. The good thing about this is, most people paint their house walls white (neutral color) in order to sell their house quicker. At least painting over them will be easier...

This is true when I did rentals I have to admit I did the same due to the fact that I wanted them to be able to paint with ease the color they wanted.
