Oh, yes. It does frustrate me when my computer starts going haywire. Especially when I am trying to do something I think is of value. I try to immediately run a anti-virus program, Than my anti-spyware programs. I defragment and clean out any old files. Hopefully that works. So i don't loose whatever I was working on.

it is very frustrating, indeed. these are the usual things we observe in maintaining our computers at working condition. it is good that at most times this is sufficient to keep things going. there was a time when we had to reformat one of the hard disks. this is the thing that most of us always avoid having to do. it is so taxing. what i do is, i hire a technician to do this for us.

i don't see how this is a discussion, is there any other answer?
nobody would be happy when their computer acts up,
but yes I guess there is another answer
some people might say they just take in all in stride,
and some people might cry,
I would be very upset, and worried because I couldn't fix it.

I never intended this to become a top priority discussion topic ...but I contemplated on the idea how people would react to such a situation . Sorry for the mediocre topic . Thanks for the response.

I have had it happen and believe me it is no joking matter! It happened at work and I don't know what happened but numbers just started appearing ont he screen and going down and down and down. I was freaking out! Not to mention I lost all of my work. So, I know exactly what you mean!

of course, i will be furious. my, i can just think of how much disaster it will cause me if i am working on an important report. or, if i am a student and i am printing my term paper, research work or my thesis. moreso, if i am running out of time and i am beating the deadline. must i run fast to the internet cafe in order to be able to beat the deadline? yes, i will if it is the last recourse at hand. instead of fretting over it, find an appropriate solution. if there is still time to correct whatever has gone wrong, so much the better.

Oh yes! I had that same thing happen to me. My keyboard shorted out and I couldn't do anything without it printed all those numbers. Thank goodness, my computer was under warranty. It did frustrate me badly.
