Carpet Spot Remover:
1 tsp mild dishwashing liquid
1 tsp vinegar
2 cups warm water
stir together. sponge onto spot do not rub or scrub. rinse by sponging with clean cloth or sponge and water. Do not saturate the carpet. Repeat till spot is gone.
This is people and pet friendly and no harshe odors. Plus it is less expensive than store bought spot cleaners that don't work.
Got any carpet cleaning secrets to share?

Great tips- Man vinegar is used for all kinds of treatments! In laundry, baking, floor cleaner. Cool- I can't believe how expensive the floor cleaners are- I use resolve and it doesn't work that well. I ripped up our rug and refinsihed the hard wood floors in the living room- now we have an area rug- No stains yet- Do have a stain in the playroom- I'll try this mixture on it! Wish me luck!
