apron - you can copy my way and use this diagram to make it. it is very simple to make and will take hardly half an hour to complete the whole process.
I use aprons always when i am in kitchen. even when i am out in serving and eating sometimes i keep on wearing till my meal ends, and i dont have to use any napkin . i make aprons at home as i find it very very easy task to do in my free time. i use pure coton fabric and if i wanna make full lenghth, i mean the one tied on the neck and comes down, i need one metre of the lenght of the fabric. it is one yard, if you go to the market to buy. as i know of my fabric, if your fabric is 45inch wide and 36 inch in length, then first lie it down on a table or on the floor and mark 27" from the 36" side. now 9"is remaining on that side which can be used in making string and pockets. I am attaching a diagram, you either copy it or save it and then according to my writing you can make it. it is very simple or if you see the diagram, it is self explanatory, any person can see and understand it, very easy to make, it is self learning thing.nobody taught me this, i learnt it myself, but when i joined fashion designing i started making a variety of fasshionable stuff on it.

I own a couple of aprons but they have been packed away now for so long I probably wouldn't be able to find them. I am a messy cook so I should wear one and I used to, but the hardware fixtures on my kitchen draws were getting caught on them and it drove me nuts. I stopped wearing them when we moved into this house and that was over ten years ago. I wouldn't be able to assist you in making one. But we have two stores in my area called Bed, Bath & Beyond, and Linens & Things - I have seen nice aprons at both.

Also, if you are crafty, some of the large arts and crafts stores have started carrying just plan canvas ones. You could then decorate it with fabric paint, iron on decals or anything else crafty you could come up with.

I usually don't take the charge of cooking. It is done by my wife. She never uses any apron during cooking. It is well handled and managed by her without an apron. We have even not any plan for apron. Thanks and have a good day.

I am normally not in the habit of wearing an apron. I am usually dressed in T shirt and shorts while cooking so there is no need to wear an apron unless I am wearing something that I do not wish to dirty. If you need a quick apron, go to a fancy schmancy kitchen store, (or better yet, a thrift shop) and buy a dishtowel, and just sew some ribbon to make the ties, making the tails super long to tie in front. No hemming!

I do wear an apron when cooking. It has saved many clothes from stains that do not come out. I purchase my aprons at a Workwear type of store; one that sells nurses uniforms, wait-staff aprons, chef coats, etc.

No I do not. No one in my family does either. I think we have aprons in the house though, maybe one or two of them, but we don't wear them. So I'm really not sure why we even have any in the house!

No i don't ,I tried to use apon while cooking ,but for some reason i just don't feel comfortable with the apron on me. However i still encourage you to put on apron while cooking because it definately helps to prevent from stain directly on your clothes.
