Sore Fingers

Ok I am typing this with a couple of sore Fingers at the moment hehehe
Well I have a light that you can adjust into different Angles
It has been on now for 4 hours and I got fed up with the Glare of it on my Keyboard and yes I have only just now got fed up with it
So I thought right enough I am pointing it in a different Direction.
Well I get up I touch the lamp to adjust I scream Gissi jumps as he was asleep I curse and Fingers are sore
Yep I forgot how hot it gets after 4 hours on the Go and burnt my Fingers. What do I get from Gissi? A dirty look and he toddles of to bed in disgust for being ripped out of his sleep, never mind that Mum now has sore Fingers, nope that is not important, Gissi's sleep is
Well I guess they will calm down, hey it is only 2 Burnt Fingers hehehe I can cope lol
So please take it from me never touch a hot Lamp
And no Krazy this is not a Lamp post that walked in front me lol I normally avoid them

I think Gissi needs to be your Health and Safety Officer Gabs. You are really giving blondes a bad reputation.
I can just picture Gissi, like Gromit when his owner has done something beyond stupidness!!

Hehehehe I won't tell you what I did earlier then lol not going to tell anyone hahaha

Oh that stinks Gabs I hate when I burn myself. Its painful.OUCH I hope you put something on them. And if you put them under cold running water that helps the pain alot. Ive done this many of times.LOL One time I pick up a dish that came right from the oven. Yea stupid me.LOL Well Gabs I hope it feels better sweets. Big hugs to you and Gissi

I would laugh but honestly have done this myself before and know it does not feel good at all - ouch is just not strong enough a word to respond.

If i could count the number of times I've done that, either on a light bulb which had blown, and not cooled before I removed it, or on the oven door and shelves, I would run out of fingers and toes, and I've got at least two lovely scars to prove it.
I have a remedy now for sore fingers from burns. I first run them under a cold tap for a few seconds, then I plunge them into warm, (and that's not too hot) water. The heat of the second lot of water takes the sting out within about two minutes. Then you dry your hands and apply a soothing cream. Germolene is excellent.

Por Gissi no no poor Gissi he was annoyed because his Beauty sleep had been disturbed I mean not that he ever disturbs mine when he decides at 3am to cover me with Kisses like he did this morning just so he can get under the Covers lol
No they are ok I ran cold water over them straight away

Awww you poor dearie. That must really hurt. I remember burning my fingers before. I was steaming my clothes for the first time. I accidentally steamed my fingers since I was still clumsy using it. It really hurt and I ended up with two blister fingers for a week, LOL! Better put that lamp away so you won't have all 10 of your fingers getting burn.

Are they badly burned? My desk lamp gets really hot after a while too. I have to use a piece of cloth on the handle to turn it off if I have left it on too long.
Ice might help. Hope they stop stinging soon! Burns hurt!

ALthough I can understand you. The lamp in my desk when I am at the computer annoys me to no end and sometimes I don't even pay attention where I"m touching when I'm adjusting it. But I will pay more attention now.
Knowing that we have many similar things I don't want to burn my poor little fingers as well hehe

i think anyone he can feel the different time when he angle or not but its nice feelings to feel it .
