Did radio shock Jock Gregg Hughs and partner Anthony go to far?

Radio Shock Jock Gregg (Opie) Hughs and partner Anthony were suspended by XM Satellite Radio For a rape fantasy bit on their show. They were discussing Condi Rice, First Lady Laura Bush, and Queen Elizabeth. Many listeners were shocked that the shock jocks were suspended. Should they have been suspended? I think so. We have gotten to the point where anything goes in some areas. Then in others areas we go overboard. Is this what freedom of speech means?

I've never heard of these guys, they must be XM's answer to Howard Stern. I don't know if Howard's ever had something like that on his show, but he does try to be outrageously stupid. Yeah, I think a rape fantasy is going too far, no matter who it is.

They think those who hate Condi Rice and Laura Bush will think it is funny. Even if I do not particularly care for someone, a rape fantasy is never acceptable.

I don't know this particular radio show but I've seen on the news he is quite a controversial person that will go to any length to get attention from his listeners, wait till one of his loved ones go through something horrible like that, God forbid. I don't think it is freedom of speech, but rather raping a huge privilege!

This is so true. It is such a disappointment that people even want to listen to it.

I think the cliché of "birds of a feather flock together" will fit in here perfectly, thanks for the vote my friend! xx
