Fewding nieghbors

My husband and I have just recently bought our 2nd home and it was a repo. Well our house sits almost behind another house. The other house had this house built for their mother who lost the house and so we bought it for a really great price, but we have to put in a 470ft drive way and the neighbors are not happy about that at all. Does any one else have un happy neighbors? And how do you hand them? Do you argue with them? Or do you just ignore them?
