How do you review or evaluate movies?

I like to collect good movies. When I to a dvd rental or movie store I always prepare more times just to read the synopsis behind the covers. I spend hours to do it. Movies based on true stories become my priority due to the morals of it. Fiction movies serve good values or philosophical messages to reflect. When I look for characters then I searh it from dramas. War movies and sci-fi are just for entertainment due to the special effects, besides the crazy ideas offered by them. What about you?

I usually watch movies after I watch a review on TV or found a review on the internet and found it interesting. Sometimes I watch movies based on the actor like Keanu Reeves, Richard Gere, Adam sandler, Sandra Bullock or another teen actors. I mostly like drama and romantic comedy, therefore anything look comedy on the cover will pay my attention first. I've ever rent a movie thatlooks so funny on the cover (I forgot the title) but never heard anything about that movie. Later I found out its a blue film after watching.. so dissapointed...LOL..

It was a bonus for you then...hehehe... Best known actors are usually casted for best movies. And they are associated with certains characters fit with them. But sometimes good movies introduce new stars. Cannes film festival and others often do that. Unfortunately some good and high-quality movies are not famous. Did you see "Not One Less"? I don't think you did. It's a silver awarded film in some festival (I'm afraid I forget the name of the festival, Berlin maybe). It's a film about a young dedicated teacher in rural China. Be careful yaaa... Covers may lie...hehehe... Have nice movies!

I do not spend hours reviewing a film but I do write out reviews for some websites...I'm not sure how to describe how I approach a film, each one will guide me and speak differently to me as far as how the review will go but some simple examples of my reviews can be found posted here: http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/26766/wes_laurie.html

Thank you so much ArsonCuff! I've visited the web, and it looks so professional. You've given me support to do like what you did. I like to collect good movies, and my reviews was just in speaking not written. Once I'd made it, but for discussion purpose in my class. Thanks also for referring me that URL. If you don't mind, would you like to give me/us here more information about how you've done with that site? It gives you earning too, right? Thank you...thank you... God bless, and have nice days!

We do some research on internet. Read some reviews. What are the comments about it, is it interesting or not. Then if it is, we'll watch it or rent.
