If you see beggars on the streets or at the church, what do you usually do?

Its so sad that here in the Philippines you can see lots of beggars, young or old, blind men, and street children selling sampaguitas on the busy streets in manila. For some people they will just ignore them. For me as a Filipino i would help them in small ways like giving them food to eat or money if they are disabled and very old. But giving money to small children is a big no-nos. The parents of these children should be responsible enough to raise them, and give their needs. Do you give help to poor people? how?

I don't give money to these beggars, especially children...they tend to buy rugbys for them to sniff, I prefer to give them food...but I give money to old beggars..the ones you see who really cannot make money to buy food for themselves.. But if you frequently pass by the street which you see the same beggars, sometimes you have to avoid giving money everyday...tendency is they always ask for it everyday.
