how will you answer to a wrong number?

if any one calls you at mid night then how will you response to him/her and what will be your answer? last night one wrong number called to me and he was searching for his friend at mid night through his mobile number but the number which he dialed was incorrect and wronged to me and when i told that i m not that to whom you are searching then he sayed sorry for the disterbence at midnight. and i accepted his sorry and tell that its ok .

If I have a call at mid night, I will just pick it, but it won't be that easy answering him/her freely, cos the world have been to stage that one have to be very careful. Thanks

I usually behave them politely saying you are wrong. u are searching for some other people.

That was a very gentle reaction from your part. I too would have responded in the same way. Still it was not fair for the man to search for his friend in the midninght since he was not so sure about his number. Thank you sleepylocket.

if any wrong no call is coming into my mobile i just want to know whom he or she want to talk if its not me or not my friends i just tol that its wrong no and cut the call... thanks....

For me i am not upset i just tell the person that its wrong number. There are lots of wrong number that i answered but its alright everybody made a mistake sometimes.

I am generally polite to people, so I will accept his apologies and bid him a good night. There is no point in being rude to anyone. You are only harming yourself, for you end up losing your temper.

If some one call's me at mid night I let my answering machine get it. during the day I will answer the phone and if it's a wrong number I politely tell them so and then hang up.

I would tell them that they got a wrong number and just hang up the phone. Then I would go back to sleep.

i would politely tell the caller that the person whom he/she wants to talk to is not available on this number as the number dialled by him/her is a wrong number.

Hey.....I just asks the buddy whom he/she wanna talk, and if I found it a wrong number, i just say that and hang on the call. I really dont like the people conversing with the wrong numbers and so I do not engage myself in such kinda activities :-)
