When it comes to believing in God, I think it is safer to believe than not to believe. I'd hate to make a big mistake like that! That isn't the only reason I believe, though. I know there are atheists who can't understand how a person can believe in God. I can't understand how someone can't believe in God!

Therefore, practical wisdom suggests to abide by Faith. Faith is reasonable to man.

I'd rather live my life to the good and face the possibilities than live my life to the bad and face the possibilities. I don't live my life perfect, but I would like to think that if there is a God, I would hope that he would accept me as I am.

This is an argument Blaise Pascal used years back... and it is called Pascal Wager. Well, I don't know if it's something you've read from Pascal. Of course the lines are not just the same as that of Pascal, but the idea is. By the way, Pascal was a french mathematician and thinker who is also called as the father of modern computer and inventor of Barometer.
