patient of depression

hello....m a patient of acute mental depression and ADHD(attention deficit hyperactivity disorder)...m currently on alot of medical drugs....prozac....attentrol and a SCHEDULE X drug....addwise....any suggestions on treatments other then medica drugs...? i honestly think that the only thing that can actually help me is good people whom i can trust in....good friends....and in genreal having a change of environment altogether....any suggestion...i've been suffering for 3yrs...been treated for the past 3 months....and i cant take nomore....i have made 3 suicide attempts....not something to be proud of...but thats how it is....might not survive the next time...please help me...thanks for ur time...

I think you are right that having good friends can help you to cope with things. I hope you find lots of good friends on myLot and in real life who will help you through this.

thnx for ur comments.....m also a musician...m a drummer....i also write songs....m writing a song here bot what i've been feeling... with tears in my eyes, i watch u leave... with pain in my heart, i watch u leave... with loneliness around me, i plan my demise... this pain in me, i hope will suffice... now that i lay here, with a cut on my wrist... darkness surrounds me, as i see ur face in the mist... and now that m leaving, i just want u to know... that i'll always love you... come what may...i'll always be there, as a star up above... looking down upoon u... with the deepest of love....
