News-just-in: England's best player of 2006 World Cup, Owen Hargreaves is finally all set to join Manchester United. The confirmation has come from none other than Franz Beckenbauer, Bayern Munich's president. How big a catch is that for Man U? Cheers! Ram

I very happy with this transfer information. That's a very usefull additional player for Man Utd's midfield.

I know, in fact Carrick is in the team today only because Sir Alex could not land Hargreaves last season. Now he has two world class midfielders. I guess Alan Smith is now on the way out... Cheers! Ram

Heard the news yesterday and i am delighted, its a great signing for Utd and its been on the cards for quite a while but its good to hear the comments from Bayern suggesting that the move is very very likely, even if nothing has yet been signed.

Yep and the deal is around the 25 million mark which is great for Man U after the bounty of winning the EPL this season. Bayern on their side get cash to get Luca Toni, Miroslav Klose and possible Arjen Robben. Cheers! Ram
