life is very precious for humans, animals and plants alike. All living things try to survive and try to keep life. There is a purpose there, a purpose to keep on survival, try to find immortality, avoid death. evolution is also very important to us, the next generation. the prey mantis male gets eatin in order to spread his seads, a dove would do anything to save her eggs, penguins travel accross the harshest conditions to take care of their eggs. all im saying is that our lives are filled with meening, although it may not be as fulfilling as we would like them to be, its still there. that is why we create a so called better reason for existance. we create god(s) and religions, we create worship and feeling, we create (in my opinion) an artificial reason for life. it is more of a defence mechanism against "the point" even though it steps outside the boundries of "reason". so if this god was real, would he be jealous of us? I meen, if god was real, he would be jealous of us because we have a better reason for living than he does. his reason is vague and unfilling, ours is much more reasonable and understandable. he would also be jealous of the preciousness of our lives. he would be jealous that we strive everyday to keep living while he has no reason to strive for anything. he already has everything. then one could argue that god cant be jealus because he has everything. he also has time, which makes him just as susesable to jealusy and boredum as we are, since he has all feeling.. so, what do you think. what is the point of human life? what is the point of gods life? is god jealous at our mortality?

God's rays of light - God is watching over us
I don't think He is jealous. After all, He is the one who made us. Why would He make us when He is jealous of us? and that is really very impossible. We are imperfect and He is Perfect. Why would someone so Perfect be jealous of imperfections of human beings. I believe God is the one who could guide us. Jealousy is a type of sin so I hope you think about it although I respect your opinion

Your discussion is very beautiful and interesting. I think it is what Tolkien wanted to express in the firsts chapters of the Silmarillion, when the Elfs started to be jealus of the humans because of their mortality. I can understand it in that way: if there are beings that are inmortal but are not God, that is annoying for them, I think. But for God himself (or herself), there is not such problem since he/she would be the artist, the form and the trascendence of this beauty of life. God IS also life. So I think the meaning of God life is create us, and see what we become over and over.
