Do you have a fireplace?

I have a fireplace down in the basement of our house, but it's blocked off, so we can't use it. I really wish we had one that we could actually use, because there's nothing better than on cold days and nights to have a nice hot fire going to heat things up in the house!

We do have one. It is rare to find one in the city that we live in. It is not used all that often since it is a gas one. My husband has talked about converting it to be able to use wood too.

No. It is not required here in Bangalore, India. It is a tropical place, but with cool temperature. But not cold. People who stay near forests, wooded place, burn some dry leaves to have some heat generated to warm themselves.

We have a fireplace that is a gas log--no chimney. I don't really like it because it makes the rest of the house cold.

We have a wood burning fireplace in our living room. It is so nice to use when it is cold outside. We don't have room to store firewood, so we burn the firelogs that you can buy in the stores. It is supposed to snow on Christmas day, so I think a fire in the fireplace will be a nice ending to the day.

No thank you! I live in sunny Queensland. We have more fans than we can count. The one thing I can very easily do without is a fireplace! However, if I lived in a cold place, I think it would be wonderful to get snug and warm in front of one.

I have one in the lving room and dining room, they are gas fires. i would love to have a coal or wood fire. xx
