Tablet PCs for university

it's an old discussion, but for the sake of some who might have the same question: My idea on this is to look for a second hand one. Tablet pc's are still not that cheap and students have normally enough with the basic abbility's and don't need some power-machine. So a tablet that's one year old is still good enough for taking notes and doing things you would normally do with a pc except for heavy new software use offcourse.
