Do you like the David Cronenberg movies? Videodrome, Scanners..

I just saw a post about movies, and suddenely i got this urge to go and see one of the David Cronenberg movies. I did not see them for a long time, and i just love his works. Do you know him? His movies? Crimes of the Future (1970) Shivers (1974) Rabid (1976) Fast Company (1978) The Brood (1979) Scanners (1980) Videodrome (1982) The Dead Zone (1983) The Fly (1986) Dead Ringers (1988) Naked Lunch (1991) M. Butterfly CRASH (1996) eXistenZ (1999) Spider (2002) A History of Violence Eastern Promises (2007) Which one do you like the best and why??

I have never had the interest in movies. My believe is movies are pure acting and no truth (ofcourse it is acting out of true happenings sometimes).

What is the use of art for you? Does it have any part in life? DIdn't you ever see a piece of art that reperesented a specific truth?

Lol. the fact that you do not show interest in art does not mean that you are not a quality person. I know that i wouldnot have showen interest in your posts if that was the way, and i do. :)

I think that he is very talented, but I am not big fun of horror movies...most of his films are about body horror... I did watched few and they are good, but did you see people leaving room during any film? It was me, because I can’t stand horror... I think The Fly and Videodrome are the best.

yes i know alote of people that can not stnd horror in movies, so i understand you. But he does have a beautiful philosophy in his movies that i just can waste a day or more thinking about after the movie. Yes videodrome is a good one. I also "enjoyed" eXistenZ. :)
