forget your credit card?

Yeah it happened to me! I left home without my billfold, pulled into a selfserve Gas station, filled the tank with $65.00 of diesel and when I went to pay, No Billfold, No money or Cards. What to do?
I was lucky, I had stopped there before, and the Manager remembered me. He said I could pay Later. So it turned out OK for me.
What was your experience? Did they impound your car?

I have never had this happen to me before but if it did happen to me I would just call a friend and ask them to come and bail me out!!
I'm glad things worked out for you though cause I don't know what I would have done if I was in your situation.

That didn't happen to me at a gas station, but it did happen to me at a cafe. I knew the woman and she told me to just pay the next time I came in, and I did. It was a nice excuse for me to go back the next day, because I really liked the place. Unfortunately it just closed down. I miss that place, and her food.
