Boogers on library books, yuck!

That is just too gross! I borrow books from the library all the time and sometimes there is stuff on the pages but I do my best not to touch. And I try really hard not to think about what it could be. I think I'll skip reading my library book for tonight lol.

yes indeed i have run across a similar items in library books, I think they were boogers but i chose not to conduct a thorough investigation of said substance so they might have been something else. Regardless, it is gross that people would do such things to a book they do not own.

That is really gross. I don't understand why people are so gross with items that do not belong to them.

*note to self: forget library, go to Barnes and Noble* Ha! That is absolutely disgusting. What a low life someone must be to stoop to such levels. I suppose one has to look on the bright side, thank goodness they didn't snot into it. If they had, the snot would have dried and the pages would have stuck together and you would have missed part of the story.

i wish i could say i hadn't,but i have seen it. some people are just plain nasty. i'd hand it in to the librarian,maybe they can replace it.

That is disgusting, I would be so sickened if that happened to me. Some people are just gross, its just disturbing. I really think that hygienne is slipping for some people, sometimes i wonder about people lol.

Maybe the sneezed on it by accident and bogies came out. Though you would get a damp cloth and tried and wipe the tell tale signs away surely.

Oh how gross!!! I'm a huge library fan too, and I try not to think about where the books have *been*. I have a friend who refuses to take her kids to the library because she gets skeeved out thinking about other people touching the books!

That just sickens me! Whow...I just finished lunch, and now I am trying to keep it down! What is the matter with people? I would report it to your local library, perhaps they have the means to "clean" this up before anyone else checks out the book!
