If ever that opposition Senators will come out more after the election, would it be better for the Philippines? On the contrary, if the team unity are majority , what do you expext the Phillippines will become? What is your ideas?

Hello kabayan! It would be better IMHO, because with the opposition being the majority there will be check and balance in the government and it would be good for the people. The only problem I am most concerned with is that when the opposition and the administration would engage in a political grandstanding and not looking at what will work for the benefit of the Filipinos, we are the looser again. I hope the GO senators would go beyond political alliances if it is for the common good of the people. May there loyalty to their party ends where their loyalty to their country begins.

I do hope these GO senators will have common sense but I doubt it for they keep on ranting about the corruptions of the First Family which is indeed obvious but they all forgot that the common people needs their wits and rhetoric in pursuing the cause for a better life, better health and better income. They and the administration people are in for political grand standing from the beginning and I think will continue to do so until one of them is vindicated. What a great mess again it will be like carnival anybody want to watch the show?

i think if more GO senators win, this would be bad for our country..why??escudero for one, what would he do in senate??he would likely to start another campaign fo r impeachment of GMA, am not pro admin or something but that would be the scenario if majority of the GO senators win.another impeachment case for what? of course for their presidential bets??does escudero think erap is more capable leader than GMA?if your a govt employee, i think you would know better..what happened to the national budget last 2006, i think..it got delayed..why opposition senators/congressmen delayed the approval after the it was passed to them by the palace..who would suffer?the govt employess, their salary is is delayed and that means another financial problem..do these people ever think about the common people..for christ's sake..200m in pork barrel and this cayetano would like to run for a senate seat..is his sis a senator already??that makes 400m in prok barrel for them...kapal ng mukha??noy2 aquino?his father is a good senator, not him..what did he do when he was a congressman?did any of the people with 200m in pork barrel ever do something for the lack of classrooms in our country?education budget, decreases every now and then...but the pork barrel did'nt, and they are planning on increasing it..that money is what party lists are also after...so this party lists thing is just another "abigat" o the tax payers..

I agree with you, and i am not for erap as well, what i wish is for the good of the filipino, erap, impeachment will take decades to settle them and it will just be a waste of time with the kind of judiciary in the country, in US , Nixon was impeached and out of delicadeza, he resign, but here surely they will battle to the end. The speech of the GMA in Japan last nigth saying that majority of winner in the congress are with his ticket and this morning, the issue of charter change to push thru is back again. I dont know, as you said, it will just be a form of grandstanding and waste of money without result. thank you for your response.

karma karma lang yan...if you sow something bad, you will reap bad things also. kaya i think the administration is trying their best so the karma won't reach them ;) I am not a fan of erap that's why I am saying this, but its because if an impeachment will happen again, how long will it take for us to know the truth? Erap's imprisonment (would you could that a prison?) had took a number of years but still there is no final decision yet on his case. I think an impeachment is out of the question since we will be just spending the tax money of poor Filipinos on something that will only take the time of our "good" senators and congressman in making good laws and protecting the welfare of the masses. for me, change should start from the highest elected officer of the country, she should start thinking the welfare of every Filipino especially the poor ones instead of making ways on how to stay in power. Peace!

I am glad that the opposition senators are leading as there are really deserving and most of them are of high educational standard and they have high regard as leaders for our country already. Most of the team unity candidates are Trapos and they are like shadows of the President. They have only run because the President have told them to run.

Maybe except Joker, i noticed him interpellate with good points and oppose the administration as he sees it necessary, others are just boot licking to the president like subservient people just to stay in power.

Im glad to hear that most of the genuine opposition are leading in the senatorial spot. If it will turns out like this, i think we are assured to have a good government :) Let's hope that in this coming days, they will not manipulate the people's vote ( im referring to ARROYO and her team ).

I understand what you mean and thats the one most people are afraid of, the team unity called that political machinery, every can happen anytime. sorry but it looks like the people are no longer trusting the comelec after the Garci scandal. A new case was brewing in Maguindanao where the TU was a landslide and the guy from Amianan was number one, who wants to believe a zero, even a kid in town will laugh, ha ha ha ha ha, they make me laugh

I just hope that the opposition can make it, they have more good platforms than TU and i'm afraid that senators on no. 9 to 12 slots maybe victimized by "dagdag bawas". The cheating machines are out to do their job.

Now i realized the what they call silent majority are for the opposition. Before, the TU says the silent majority are on their side, but the result of the election speaks differently. And here the dagdag bawas and what they call political machinery is something fishy to watch.

i guess one reason why opposition senators are now leading is because people are now sick and tired of corruption remember we are now the number one most corrupt country and that is so embarassing..so i think we need more oppositions in our administration now to balance the governance

Well , we want that to be the case for the Go senators to ballance, but it seems that in the lower house most winners are on the side of the administration and the issue this time is the pushing of the charter change where we saw last time they convene about this matter that no matter how many opposition senators are useless to the vote of the majority in the lower house.

It could also be the reason why there are so many party list group in the last election. Their nominees are either brother of a cabinet man, a relative or a former government official. Another tactics to have more "yes" in charter change.

People have spoken...they voted mostly GO candidates not just in Senatorial but in local levels as well. I hope that there's still hope for our country after this election. Let's aim for a better tomorrow when these senators began to do their job.
