Hyperacidity... what do you do to avoid or treat it? i am hyperacidic... i'm taking antacid but it does not stop the pain...

How do you neutralise acid other than water .simple eat alkaly food.there are 2 types of food .food that digests in acid medium and food digest in alkaly medium . Now a days people take lot of acid foods like meat,fish,egg,sugar,white rice,tea,coffee,cola etc. and due to this acid in your stomach will increase change your diet t o alkaly foods means raw or half cooked vegetable ,fruits ,brown rice or bread,green leafy veg .it is better not to vegand frutis also avoid those stale cooked foods even if it is veg.taking protens and starch together may also cause acidity indigestion,taking fruits along wiht starch also causes trouble.medication no solution at all. change your diet for over all health learn more about food combination www.drbass.com .search here.

Remedies for Hyperacidity If you feel acid problem in your stomach then chew some basil leaves. Slowly suck a small piece of jaggery. A glass of chilled milk is a quick remedy. Diet for Hyperacidity problem Fruits like apple, watermelon and banana are recommended for people with hyperacidity problem. Avoid fried food, pickle, hot and spicy food. Take your meals regularly on time, don’t skip them. Drink plenty of water. Avoid garlic, onion, pepper, radish and cabbage. Avoid unripe fruits. Always chew your food properly. Include plenty of green and leafy vegetables in your diet. To prevent acid reflux, maintain proper posture after your meal. Never go to bed or lie down immediately after a meal.
