have you read the news today, a good rich man developed a laptop to be given to children especially in the poor country...his name is Nicholas Negroponte, he has a simple idea which could change the world. he is the founder of MIT's legendary Media Lab and wants to provide low-cost laptop computers to as many children as possible in every developing nation.... upon hearing the story i instantly felt an admiration to the man.. i hope other billionaire can do what he did so as to make our nation a better world... here's the link to the news....kindly see it and be inspired http://60minutes.yahoo.com/segment/69/one_laptop_per_child

yes it is a good deed that he is doing but as of now im getting worried for the laptop if he is going to give it here in the Philippines. CAn you imagine a street child carrying a laptop asking for a coin for meal?

i think they will distribute the laptop on public school where they cant afford to buy one...and then teach the children.
